Video Editing Services

What we do: CDC provides video editing services for documentaries, reality TV, narrative film, advertisements, music video and corporate events. We also do wedding videos, new baby videos, video resumes, depositions, focus groups, forensic video, event videos and video photo albums.

Our specialty is making your video program look great, no matter what the subject! CDC wants to help you tell your story. We can arrange film, video, music, photos and graphics to communicate your message.

Tools of the trade: We use a computerized non-linear editing system (Final Cut Express HD) that gives us tremendous flexibility and spectacular special effects, such as wipes, dissolves, freeze frames, split screens, slow and fast motion, voiceovers, and sound effects editing.

Acceptable sources: VHS, S-VHS, VHS-C, Video8, Hi-8, D8, DV, DVCAM and MiniDV.

Finished projects may be output to Internet-ready formats such as AVI, QuickTime or MPEG format. We can encode your video to the size specifications - from 160X120 to 640X480 for AVI or QuickTime video. MPEG-1 is normally encoded at 352X240, while MPEG-2 is encoded at 720X480.

Prices: Video editing services are provided at $85 hour rate with a 1 hour minimum. Call for special rates or to fix bid a large project.
